An Oregon Optometrist

Oregon native Alton Rossman grew up in Coos Bay and opened his first optometric practice in Salem, in 2001. He founded West Salem Vision Center in 2008 and is now a sole proprietor

Dr. Rossman has donated his time and skill to various eye care missions in Jalisco, Coatzacoalcos and Union de Tula through the Lions in Sight and VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) programs. He is a standing member the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) and Salem Chamber of Commerce. He is a Past President of West Salem Rotary and a Paul Harris Fellow.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Rossman is also an adjunct clinical professor at his alma mater, Pacific University College of Optometry.

Dr. Rossman is a life-long outdoor athlete and avid reader. He and his wife Rachael have two children.
